Each Monday I post #MenOfTwitter profiles of men who catch my eye and whom I think you may enjoy following. This month I’m featuring Twitter profiles of men who are lending their voice and influence to fight for greater equality. Last week I included names of out and proud actors. This week I’m featuring two handsome men who have built careers as political activists to foster change and greater equality.
SeanEldridge - Sean is a senior advisor for Freedom to Marry. He initially started working with Freedom to Marry in 2010 as their Communications Director and then Political Director, a role in which he was instrumental in winning the freedom to marry to New York. He’s handsome, articulate and a political activist helping the LGBT community; follow him on Twitter.
Aravosis – John Aravosis is a political consultant, writer, gay activist and blogger who lives in D.C. He is also the founder of AMERICAblog. Although you may not recognize John by name – you will likely recognize some of his accomplishments, which include co-founding the site, StopDrLaura.com. Aravosis has also worked with leading US businesses to ensure they do not bow to pressure from conservative religious organizations. Also active on Twitter, John is worth following.
