When I was growing up, Army commercials said “We do more before 9 a.m. than most people do all day.” If I’d seen images like this when military recruiters came to our school I might have been more receptive.

Catholic schools – the only recruitment was for the Brotherhood or Priesthood. Me, knowing full of the vow against sex was a deal breaker decline. Sure, they would have educated the hell out of me but at that point in the game I didn’t think I could tolerate the religious claptrap any longer. In other words, I didn’t and still don’t believe in their god.
One does have to fantasize though, I’d probably be pope by now if I had.
*Receptive* Teehee!
Woof… The recruiters who came to our school back in the 80′s never looked like that… But if I knew then what I know now I’d have been wayyyy more receptive, too!
