Each Friday morning I post some sort of brain teaser to get you to exercise your brain, but I’m currently away on vacation so I’ve posted an optical test in lieu of my usual riddle.
Look at the chart above and say the color (not the word). See how quickly you and others can do this accurately. The right side of your brain wants to say the color but the left side of your brain is focused on reading the word.

At first I thought there was something wrong with me bc I found it easy and then I reread the instructions and realized I was doing it wrong. Duh! But even doing it correctly I found it easy and even easier if I closed one eye.

Somewhere I saw a line of t-shirts with the names of colors in another color. I like them, but my life is confusing enough!

Piece of cake! The trick is to just look at a piece of each word so you don’t think too hard about it.
