For those of you living on the North Shore be sure to check out Salem Theatre’s latest production The Normal Heart which opens tomorrow, June 11th and runs through the 27th of this month; Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20 will be a special Pride performance at 5 p.m.
Last year H.B.O. brought Larry Kramer’s ground breaking (and heart tugging) play to life with amazing performances from Mark Ruffalo, Jonathon Groff, Julia Roberts and others. I would think this would be a powerful story to see unfold on a stage so bring your tissues and get your tickets ($25.00 / $10.00 for students).
