No plans for New Year’s Eve? The Welcoming Committee is taking all the stress out of planning a night out in Boston to help ring in the New Year by hosting a party in downtown that all are welcome to attend.
New Queer’s Eve as they are calling it will take place at Central Wharf, starting at 10PM. Tickets to the party cost $35 and will include hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast at Midnight as well as plenty of great music. If you are unsure of your plans, check out TWC’s party “New Queer’s Eve”.

In this season of giving you may want to consider giving back. The Welcoming Committee is committed to helping our community through their TWC Gives Back programs that organizes ways for the LGBT community to volunteer.
One such opportunity takes place on Tuesday, December 15th with Cradles to Crayons at C2C’s Giving Factory warehouse in Brighton. TWC volunteers will roll up their sleeves and help provide local, low-income children with the essentials they need to thrive. During the 2-hour shift, you’ll sort and pack winter clothing and basic toiletries that’ll help get kids through the holidays.
If possible please bring one or more of the following unused items.
- Hats and gloves for children age 8-12
- Kids shampoo (e.g., L’Oreal kids 2-in-1)
- Bar soap (e.g., Dove, Olay)
- Kids toothpaste
- Adult toothpaste (no whitening toothpaste)
- Baby wipes
- Baby lotion
- Baby nail clippers
Please plan on arriving 10-15 minutes early.
The Welcoming Committee has teamed up with Club Cafe and will be binge-watching three episodes of Will & Grace (including one double-episode).
