brain teaserEach Friday morning I post a riddle to get you to think outside the box and exercise your brain. If you are stumped, share it with a friend or colleague to see if you can figure it out together.

I’ll confirm answers later in the day so don’t worry if you don’t see your comment posted right away. I want to give everyone a chance.

This week’s brain teaser was sent to me by my friend Omar Thomas. It is a real humdinger so if you don’t figure it out right away take a break and come back to it. Thank you Omar!

    I completely didn’t get this one because I’m trying to spot the numerical values.

    The problem asks you to identify the number of circles in each set.
    8809 = 6 (2 in each “8”, and 1 in both “0” and “9”)
    0000 = 4 (1 in each “0”)

    So, 2581 = 2 (2 in the “8”)

    It’s the number of “circles” in the number.
    (I’ve seen this puzzle before). 🙂
