45th Carnival Week returns to Provincetown

The 45th annual Carnival Week celebration officially begins today. This year’s theme is The Land of Toys and Provincetown has pulled out all the stops with parties and events planned through the week.

Highlights from this year’s Carnival week include the disco duck carnival cruise, Brass Key’s pool party, Alyssa Edwards who makes her Ptown debut, the town’s annual parade (a personal favorite), and a ridiculous amount of parties hosted at bars around town.

If you weren’t able to come to Provincetown this year but would like to come next year, Carnival 2024 will take place August 17-24, 2024. The theme for next year will be announced when the last float from the annual parade which takes place next Thursday rolls down Commercial Street.
