This week’s riddle: While on my way to Newport I saw a man with 7 children. Each child had 7 sacks. Each sack had 7 cats. Each cat had 7 kittens. Kitten, cats, sacks, children, How many were going to Newport.

1 – the traveller! I do a similar one with the kids – you are the driver of a bus then is any numberof passengers on and off at various stops, to end at how old is the driver – use it as a lesson to read questions in exams!
