Each year Rio de Janeiro hosts the world’s largest party when they host Carnival. Today is Fat Tuesday – the last day of Carnival. With all due respect to New Orleans’, Mardi Gras, it is unfair to even compare the two celebrations. Its like comparing professional baseball players to your local town league. Rio’s celebration runs around the clock for four days, is broadcast worldwide and draws viewers from every continent. Sorry New Orleans – when you can measure your viewers in the hundreds of millions (let alone billions) then we can talk. Enjoy these photos from this year’s celebration.
