The Fenway Men’s Event is right around the corner. Will you be attending the black tie fundraiser for Fenway Health? This will be the second year in a row that Sergio and I will miss the party. The Men’s Event is an annual tradition for many in the Boston area to hop into a tuxedo and come together to help raise money for Boston’s largest LGBT clinic, Fenway Health. More than 1,300 are expected to attend this year’s program that will raise more than $600,000.

Below is a video from The Men’s Event 2012 to whet your appetite and / or to show you all the fun if you’ve never been before and are curious to see more.

No matter where I’ve lived, I’ve missed my care at Fenway (from NYC to DC to Miami and the Bay)! Such a great community, especially Doctor Bakofin and the research team! Never got a chance to attend the Men’s Event..as a student, organizer and research, it was always out of my economic reach and a little socially unwelcoming. Hope it goes well. Lots of great support for services comes from it!
