Boston Ballet’s final show of the season, Thrill of Contact, opens later this week and runs from May 14-24. If you have never been to the ballet or if it has been a few years since your last visit, this is the perfect opportunity to see the versatility of Boston Ballet dancers.
The final production of the season, Thrill of Contact, is a striking compilation of precision and impressive athleticism featuring works by Balanchine, Robbins, Forsythe, and a world premiere by Boston Ballet’s Principal Dancer, Jeffrey Cirio.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again… Boston is fortunate to have such a talented ballet to call our own and you may be pleasantly surprised by how much you love attending their performance in the beautiful Opera House in Boston’s Theater District so make a night of it and come out to support Boston’s arts scene.
