GAY FOR GOOD is a volunteer organization that operates in Boston and ten other cities around the US. The group aims to energize and mobilize the LGBT community to interact with the greater community by volunteering their time to various social welfare and environmental service projects.
Each month, Gay For Good Boston selects a different non-profit to donate our time for a community service project. Next month on Saturday, July 11th GAY FOR GOOD Boston will help the Franklin Park Zoo with their park beautification for the peak of summer tourist season. There is plenty of parking, and this project is accessible by MBTA bus routes #16 or #45. Following the volunteer work everyone is welcome to join at Doyle’s Cafe, 3484 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain for lunch. RSVP before this program fills to capacity.
