My Didier of blessed memory would often do that. And I’m amazed at Deedles’ remark because it was most often with D singing in French araignée minuscule (there is no equivalent to itsy bitsy). I’m more the night owl and mornings were his specialty- which I always found to be odd as he was a chef and ran a catering company. He could go to bed at 4am and be up and at it at 7 am. I to this day wonder how. His mom was the same way.
This is a very sweet way to wake up, unless the receiver of said affection is deathly afraid of spiders and wakes up punching because one is crawling on said person’s face *cough*.
