Stephen Tennant, Siegfried Sassoon

Stephen Tennant & Sigfried Sasson in Sicily in 1930

Tennent (shown standing on the right) was born into British nobility and had an on again off again relationship with Sasson, an English poet, writer and soldier who was decorated for bravery on the Western Front in WWI. While their relationship only lasted four years, it turned out to be the most significant relationship either man would end up having.

Previous Vintage Gay Photos

I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share for a future post? Email me at bosguymail@gmail.com.

  2. It is hard to believe, especially given my extremely shameless lust for hairy men, that I have come to love your “Vintage Gay” posts even more than your “Furry Friday” and “Bonus Fur” posts. But hey, it is what it is, and I is loving the “Vintage Gay” posts very much.

    Thank you,BosGuy, and have a wonder-filled weekend.
