Vintage gay

The lack of clothing may make this tough to date. I can’t help but feel like this is Palm Springs in the 1980s but that is a total guess on my part. Anyone else care to share insights into when / where this may have been taken?

    I think, one of the guys is Jim Cassidy and it seems photographer is Jim French.. but don’t believe me. Any idea who are they ?
