As Boston’s LGBTQ+ community continues to grow and mature, more grassroots-based celebrations are emerging and this week the Men of Melanin Magic will be hosting a series of parties and events to celebrate Boston’s queer community of color.

I’m so glad there will be events made from, with, and for the QTBIPOC community this year. It’s sorely needed in racist gay communities and cities like Boston.

I hope you will support them. The Men of Melanin Magic is the group hosting the events and they are a very active social group but I don’t always feel like they get the support they need and deserve.
