Thank you!

Back in 2007, I was inspired to set up a blog called BosGuy Blog on Google’s blogging platform, and in 2011, I moved it to the WordPress platform, where it has resided ever since. What started as an interesting experiment, quickly became a wonderful hobby that introduced me to many kind and interesting people here in Boston and abroad, but after 16+ years, I’m ready to hit the pause button.

For those who may find themselves visiting this blog looking for more information about Boston’s queer nightlife, please check out KikiPedia. The website has current information about gay-themed nights and LGBTQ+ bars in the area.

Additionally, if you’re new to the area, visiting or have questions about Boston or Provincetown, reach out. I’m still here and happy to answer questions or provide tips/suggestions. You can email me at bosguymail@gmail.com or reach out on my Twitter, Instagram, Threads, and/or Bluesky handles.

Thank you to everyone who has visited, commented on, and shared my posts. This has been a tremendous ride. Wishing you all the very best.

  7. I was dumbfounded to check and see no updates since January 1st, and then I found notification of your decision to take a break. A blog of this magnitude has to have been like a second job! It is no wonder you need a breather. I am in bed with covid and was hoping to find a little consolation at BosGuy; well, not this time! But you deserve kudos for your accomplishments with this blog and its service to the community. Take a rest and let us know if and when you’re ready for the next stage.

  13. Thank you for being a part of my morning wakeup. Each day, a different sort of revelation – a face or body to admire, a memory of times past to contemplate, a riddle to get the brain cells functioning. All the best for 2024.

Trust me – I completely understand the urge to pause. Folks don’t know what it takes to do this, and you’ve been terrific! Thanks for all the eye candy and Boston-centric info. You rock!
