This week’s post is a departure from photos of men in kilts to share a picture the French artist, Albron, shared in time for St. Patrick’s Day this year. I thought it worthy of sharing. I featured Albron’s Instagram account earlier in March and it seemed popular so I hope you enjoy this week’s playful post.
Tristan Cameran Harper is a former professional hockey player turned photographer and Scottish mountain guide. He wears a kilt quite nicely, and I would recommend he continue to model kilts without a shirt. He also has a pretty spectacular Instagram account with some breathtaking images of Scotland, here. Looks like a perfectly respectable kilt, but I’m not a big fan of that furry sporran. It looks like it needs a trim.
Not really sure what is going on here but is anyone else distracted by the weird tan lines on the legs of the guy in shorts? I’m sure that wasn’t what the photographer was thinking I’d fixate on but it is probably just me.
Does anyone know who this guy is? I love everything about this look and how he is smiling into the camera. Do you think the leather strap on his left bicep is by chance (assuming he is right handed) or an intentional and not so subtle message for gay men? American actors Kit Williamson and John Halbach who also happen to be married to each other, are probably best known for starring in the dark comedy series on Netflix called EastSiders. The video was on of several filmed back in 2019 to promote tourism in the U.K. before the pandemic.
While I’m not familiar with Kit, John or their Netflix show, I do love Edinburgh and enjoyed the video. Many years ago, I worked for a firm based there, and I had the opportunity to work and visit the city. I loved Edinburgh and would gladly return but for now this video showing the sites will have to suffice.

I was recently made aware of this new series that is perfect for this weekly post (it’s even the same name) and for all things related to Scotland. Actors Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish star in a new unscripted show now available on STARZ that shows the rich heritage of this beautiful country.
The eight half hour episodes of Men in Kilts looks like it will be fun to watch. Sadly, I do not have STARZ and will not be able to see this show but for those of you who do, check out the series and let me know what you think of it.
Scottish actor, Richard Rankin, knows how to wear a kilt and it looks very good on him.

In December I shared a Tik Tok video of Scottish actor, Matt Kennedy, after Joe from the The Closet Professor blog brought him to my attention. His boy-next-door looks made me want to feature him again.
