Are they friends or more? I’m guessing this was taken in the 1980s based on hairstyles and what looks like mid-80s Gap clothing. When do you think these two handsome men were photographed?
These guys seem to really be enjoying themselves at Bear Mountain. The date at the top of the photo indicates this dates back nearly 90 years. I can’t help but wonder what sort of relationship these two men shared.
These guys seem to be enjoying themselves. I can’t figure out if they are changing into bathing suits or if it’s the end of the day and they are changing out of them. Either way, to date this week’s photo you’ll need to be able to identify and date the car. I don’t feel like their haircuts or the one guy’s bathing suit provide enough context for me to place it.

Charles Ricketts. Ricketts and his life-time companion Charles Shannon were part of the literary and artistic circle that included Aubrey Beardsley and Oscar Wilde. The British artists first met as students in 1880 and remained together, sharing a small studio for 50+ years.
I first learned about these two men reading a blog post about Oswell Blaketon on the very interesting ultrawolvesunderthefullmoon.
I’m going to guess that this was taken in the 1980s, but I haven’t anything to confirm that suspicion, and I am curious when you think this intimate moment between these two men may have been captured?
Looks like quite a party. I can’t say that I’m a fan of the saggy and baggy bathing suits these guys are wearing but I’m hoping someone can date the photograph based on the swimwear.

Thanks to longtime reader and frequent commenter, Angel from Asturias, Spain for sharing this photo. I was struck by how intimately all four are posing with hands on cheeks and face, and in particular the two up front clasping hands with heads touching.
It can be a challenge to date a photo when the men are au natural (so to speak) but I’m going to guess this was taken in the 1980s. Can anyone else discern when this photo of campers in the buff may have been taken?
Looks like a hot makeout session at someone’s house, but I can’t figure out when this may have occurred. I think the guy on the left has some sort of uniform on – perhaps one of you may be able to place or date the photo based on his clothes.
