Will the prequel to Sex In The City, The Carrie Diaries be a hit or a flop? The CW show will debut in January, and to drum up interest they have started to release Season Preview clips on YouTube.
The show opens in Connecticut in 1984 soon after 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw loses her mother. I can’t say that this will make it to my DVR, but I can see the appeal. The trailer recently released makes me think the show which I’d initially thought sounded terrible may have promise.

Somehow I thought the prequel was going to be a film. Although I loved the HBO series and enjoyed the films, this trailer is less than intriguing.
