I recently realized in 4 weeks it will be Thanksgiving and in 8 weeks it will be Christmas. (((AARGH!!!))) Lately I’ve been very frustrated with both my inability to get to the gym and the amount I’ve been eating. Realizing that the holiday season is fast approaching is enough to make me lose it entirely, say “I give up” and order a half dozen pain au chocolats. 
Fortunately I have a good trainer who can work with me but the trick is scheduling the sessions and getting my butt to the gym between our ‘gym dates’. I try to remind myself that President Obama supposedly works out for an hour every day (for some reason that always ticks me off rather than motivates me).
I suppose the point of this post was to acknowledge I’ve fallen off the fitness wagon and hope this post will be the kick in the pants I need to get back on track. Of course, I’ve added some eye candy to feed my personal insecurities and visually stimulate me into delusions of “I can look like that too.” Anyone else getting frustrated with themselves? It seems like everyone I know is a fitness freak and I’m the only one craving a donut and my couch.

I too have my self getting into that rut, Its easier to grab that Donut than going to the gym. Iam thinking of buying the Total Fitness machine, hope it does not in start looking like a coat hangar.

Are you kidding? I know better than to join a gym. And this summer was packed with visitors with whom we partied and ate and drank. A lot. Now the holiday (eating) season is upon us and I’m 3 kilos (6 lbs) heavier than I was in the spring. Good luck to you! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to find a dime or two and go visit Tony.

I m right there w/you. I’ve been to the gym so infrequently – and this by someone who went 4-5x / wk – I’m almost ashamed to show back up there. I need to. I kind of want to, but the motivation isn’t there.
Too bad I’m not in Boston, maybe I need a workout buddy.

Sadly I can related handsome. Due to stress I noticed just today I was looking a little full in the face so I got on the scale AND….
Well, let’s just say bag is packed for am and learning how not to stress eat is something I just cant get under control. I am with ya, but tomorrow is a new day and every day is an opportunity to make better choices. Btw, you always look so damn hot in your photos….I can’t imagine a couple lbs would change that!

You aren’t alone I feel like everyone secretly wants to have the doughnut and couch, but I try to work out everyday. That’s interesting that President Obama works out everyday, that’s good motivation! I put pics of hot guys as my screensavers to remind me to do healthy things. Great Blog!
