BosTongueMuch thanks to Sean over at Just A Jeep Guy for sharing this humorous photograph.  Considering CVS is based in Rhode Island, it is likely that this is exacly how the founders would have said this.

    Well – CVS is HQ’d in Woonsocket, RI. It’s now the #2 drug store chain behind Walgreens though if we go by pure store count CVS is bigger.

    That said – the dropped R is consistent with speech in MA and RI. I was broken of the habit many years ago.
