Many of us have personal insecurities that are rooted in our physical appearance. I happened upon this photograph earlier this week, and I thought “I wish I had those lips.” You see, I don’t really have an upper lip; technically I have an upper lip but it is barely there.
I love kissing so I always notice if someone has what I think are nice lips, because I inevitably then think, “They have nice lips. I bet they’re a good kisser“. File this post under ‘over sharing’.
Do you fixate on certain physical features? I would assume we all do but I find the irrationality of it to be aggravating; despite the fact that I can’t help myself.

Setting out on a long backpacking hike in Big Bend, my partner and I met a couple of nice older guys just returning from a hike. Later on, I asked, “I wonder if we’ll ever be a couple of old gay guys hiking in Big Bend”. My partner stopped, looked at me and said, “We ARE a couple of old gay guys hiking in Big Bend”.

It’s well documented that I fixate on booty. But I dont think it’s irrational. I think it’s all dependent on which activities you enjoy. A golfer is drawn to a good set of clubs. I fixate on lips often too. For the same reason you do…and other reasons.

I am always noticing someone’s “kiss-ability”…or rather, hope they really know how to kiss with those wondrous lips. I do NOT like drive-by kisses. Kissing is an art…
