I posted this photo because it reminded me so much of Tom of Finland. I’m fairly certain if any of those illustrations were to come to life they would look exactly like this super machismo (not to mention retro looking) hunk.

Comparing this handsome man to A Tom of Finland cartoon is an insult. Tom of Finland crested cartoon fantasy figures of hyper masculinity and of hyper sexuality to counter the belief that gay men were all fairies and faggots. The same thought process allows gay men to think of porn actors as god like stars and not simply as paid sex workers who are often escorts, a nice name for whores.

Bob your issues with Tom of Finland, porn or sex workers are yours to deal with and not my problem. I still think the resemblance is striking and couldn’t care less about your opinion regarding such imagery or comparisons.
