The Welcoming Committee is now helping the LGBTQ community come together and celebrate the first Friday of each month through their Guerrilla Queer Bar (GQB) in eight cities around the country. For those unfamiliar with GQB, this monthly program from The Welcoming Committee takes over a traditionally “straight” bar, turning it into a LGBTQ space in eight cities including Boston.
This month TWC’s GQB in Boston will take place at (Umbria) Prime located at 295 Franklin Street. All the fun starts at 9PM – don’t show up too fashionably late otherwise you’ll have to wait in line to get inside. GQB will also take place in: Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
