I have no idea what is going on south of Boston, but I’ve been told that the ownership of Randolph Country Club changed this past March and has been re-branded as The Country Club by Mojitos; possibly the worst name I’ve heard for a club / bar.
Looks like Randolph C.C. has been replaced by a straight club
I’ve never been a huge fan of Ra Cha Cha – my pet name for Randolph Country Club – but the space proved popular so I wanted to ask if anyone knows anything about the new ownership. The Country Club by Mojitos facebook page makes me wonder if they will be catering to the gay community. Check out their recent promos. This looks decidedly not gay to me but you be the judge.

Visited the Randolph Country Club in 1989 or 1990 . Just found my Temporary Membership Card and wondered if the place still existed . I’m from Toronto and was visiting a friend in Brookline , we spent a day there drinking by the pool and meeting all his buddy’s . Had a wonderful time . Don’t remember the drive home .

I hate changes and nothin changes for better. THE REASON WE DONT HAVE RANDOLPH IS TWO FACTORS THERE WERE CRIME NOT SUPERVISED RIGHT AND THE CITY STEPPED IN..BUT THIS NEW CLUB IS NO BETTER. I AS AMERICAN WHITE BOY WOULD NOT FEEL.LOVED AND WELCOMED .THE OLD PLACE FIFTEEN YEARS AGO MADE ME FEEL THAT WAY. AND I THINK OF ALL WORKERS THAT DIED CAUSE OF HIV OR HEART ATTACKS. ITS VERY SAD . RANDOLPH COUNTRY CLUB WAY BACK IN SEVENTIES WAS GREAT .BEFORE HIV . THERE WAS NO ATTITUDE .EVERY ONE WAS HAPPY. ALL AMERICAN CULTURE IS DIEN.ITS WHY THERES NO RANDOLPH COUNTRY CLUB .NO AMERICAN BOYS MEN. NO AMERICAN ATTITUDE AND DEFINETLY MUSIC DIED THIRTY YEARS AGO..I SAW DECLINE WHEN YOU CAN ONLY PLAY WHATS IN PAST OR ONLY HAVE LADY GA GA . ITS JUST NOT SAME. SO WHATS LEFT THE LATIN.CULTURE. THE PROBLEM IS THERES NOT ENOUGH OF US TO STAND UP AND KEEP WHAT WAS AMERICANA FOR EVERY ONE..THE LATEN CLUB IS FOR THEM AND THEN ONLY. IF I DONT LOOK OR SPEAK SPANISH I PROBALLY AINT WELCOME. I found the Randolph Country Club to be a safe haven. I started going there in the 1980s through the early 2000s before it was sold and became a Hispanic Latino Club. At that point the club was having a lot of problems fights Etc.

Keep in mind that is was for decades the RCC was not gay owned. I personally think it lived a good life and now is dead. I will go elsewhere for my entertainment and fun.

It was LGBT all the time. Let’s get it right. And they welcomed the STRAIGHT crowd with open arm but the Hispanic Latin community is not so heart warming and start fights and problems which members of the LGBT Comunity and that’s why is not a boy cut as much as a fear of a all out war by some poor transgender person that does not pass for the other gender and she will be Killed. Just as it happened in a cold november night right in front of there other club in Boston and the employee of this establishment did absolutely nothing. I saw part of it and what a shame that half these people are so ignorant . But jacket the original owner of the building does not care he needs his money and for the LGBT Comunity this is what u get for being cheep I told u that if we paid $10. At the door like other places it still be ours. Brian Murphy worked his ass off just to have it taken right from underneath him. We cry and. Bitch but let’s step up to the plate and show that in numbers we are a force. I go how ever and men ask me to dance and my number and have no clue who I used to be. But I’m married to my girl and I demand respect so I go In have a good time and walk out.

It’s gay on friday, 18+. They fired all the gay workers and kept the house drag queen and one bartender. It’s pretty sad for a customer of 15 years not being welcomed anymore. People are boycotting.

It is still gay on Fridays ( strictly gay permoter) and as well as every other night they are open….why must we have labels it is 2015. I bet you still go to tgifridays or smokey bones or any other restaurant that is not gay operated or gay labelled, so what is the difference? As far as them fiering all of the gay staff that is not true, everyone that left, left on their own terms, and don’t you think that if they were going to go fully straight they would have gotten rid of all the formar employees and djs?
