Head of the Charles is Oct. 17-18, 2015

The 51st annual Head of the Charles Regatta will take place Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th. Just as Patriot’s Day (a.k.a. the running of the Boston Marathon) is synonymous with spring for Bostonians, the regatta reminds us that it is Autumn. The Head of The Charles is the largest regatta in the world, attracting more than 8,000 rowers and 300, 000+ enthusiasts and onlookers who cheer the athletes every stroke of their race. If you’ve never been or if it has been a few years since you last found yourself at the Head of the Charles, I’d like to encourage you to come down to see what all the fuss is about and to lend your hand and voices to cheer on these athletes – some of whom have traveled from around the world to compete.
