The Orthodox Calendar which first ‘came out’ in 2012 continues to get more provocative with each passing year. Don’t be mislead by their name. The project is the brainchild of a group composed mostly of Orthodox eastern Europeans who use these provocative images to take an ironic approach to the Orthodox Church and raise awareness of homophobia; especially in the Orthodox region.
