Tonight the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company opens their nearly 3 week run of free Shakespeare on the Boston Common. This year’s production, Love’s Labour’s Lost, is a comedy that draws on themes of masculine love and desire, reckoning and rationalization, and reality versus fantasy.
Love’s Labour’s Lost
Directed by Steven Maler
July 20 – August 7, 2016
FREE and open to the public
Plan on coming down to the Boston Common one night with friends or maybe a special friend to enjoy the production directed by Steven Maler and the excellent cast. You can even order pizza to be delivered to you on the Common, making for a fun and affordable night of dinner and theater in the city.

BosGuy, you certainly continue to do a great job on reporting on all the great things to do in Boston.
Interestingly enough, my life partner and I are looking forward to the “Shakespeare in the Park” production of “Troilus and Cressida.”
However, I do not believe that I can order pizza and have it delivered to my seat at the Public Theatre!
