Jet Blue applies for Boston – Havana route (again)

airline, flying, travel, cuba, havanaFor the third time, last week Jet Blue filed to launch nonstop airline service between Boston and Havana, Cuba. Citing a saturated market, Spirit, Frontier and Silver airways are ending their commercial trips between south Florida and Havana.  Jet Blue’s application requests to be able to start service effective November 1 and indicates they would use a 162-seat A320 with weekly service on Saturdays.

    Having gone to college at the University of Miami I once took an illegal flight to Cuba. Best trip ever. Short money. And a fantastic time. Plus I brought a couple of hundred singles and tipped well. I’ve never been taken such good care of.
