The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus (BGMC) was founded in 1982 and includes 200 men who use their music as a way to bring people together. BGMC sings a wide spectrum of classical and popular music and is heard live by more than 10,000 people each season. BGMC also plays the role of Cultural Ambassadors – being the first LGBT chorus to perform in Poland in 2005, the Middle East in 2015 and later this year in South Africa in June 2018.
The chorus also happen to be hosting auditions later this week. If you are interested in learning more about the chorus or their auditions like their Facebook Page and click here for more details: BGMC Auditions.
Many use the New Year as an opportunity to make resolutions. A common resolution is to be more active and meet people, but that can be difficult for gay men in Boston. Starting in 2018 I want to feature the many groups and organizations that help people connect and enrich Boston’s gay life. If you would like to have your club / team featured please reach out to me.
