I love this week’s photo for two reasons. First, I can’t help but think these guys look so happy and relaxed together but also because I love when there are photographs with a car. Automobiles can help date when a picture was taken. Anyone out there recognize this car and able to guess when the picture may have been taken?

I’m pretty sure it is 1937 Chrysler Airflow. My great uncle had one and he used to drive me around in it in the back woods of Eastern Iowa. Those two boys look like my uncle Frank and his then boyfriend of Paul Jacobson. Very cue couple.
