2018 LGBTQ spring fund raisers and events

In what has become somewhat of a tradition, each February (or in this case early March) I share a post about Boston’s many LGBTQ fundraisers and events each spring. Considering the changes in American politics, these worthy charities need their friends and allies more than ever.

I’ve compiled a list of LGBTQ events that will take place that you may want to consider attending or supporting. If I’ve overlooked an event / fundraiser, leave a comment in the post, and I’ll do my best to update this list.

gay coupleI love this photo of (I’m assuming David & Scott) which may have been taken in Sydney, Australia. In case you are wondering, I found this photo from a really cool Tumblr blog called The Vintage Life.

I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share? Men in kilts

Dirk Caber

For those who know Dirk Caber, it is rare to see him in anything but a kilt at formal events. I’ve yet to see him go topless like this photo, but I wouldn’t put it past him or his partner, Jesse.

Wearing a harness + kilt is really good look if you can pull it off. Something for the guys here in Boston to consider if they plan on going to Fascination on Friday or to Snowbound in Provincetown later this weekend.
