Holly Folly is the nation’s first LGBTQ+ Holiday Celebration. The tradition began 26 years ago in 1997, and over the years the event has grown with the queer community traveling from far and wide to enjoy the annual Holly Folly weekend. This year the Holly Folly celebration is December 1-3, 2023 with some programming starting on Thursday, November 30th.

In just a few weeks Provincetown’s annual Holly Folly celebration will take place December 2-4, 2022.
This year’s festive weekend includes popular annual traditions like the holiday market, Inn stroll, Jingle Bell Run and Champagne Brunch, as well as many new events like HUNG with Care Burlesque show. Ryan Landry and his cast of misfits, The Gold Dust Orphans return with their annual holiday show after a two year absence. A Grinchley Christmas Carol runs Thursday thru Sunday December 2 – 19th.
The annual lighting of Provincetown’s Lobster Pot Tree was last night (Saturday, November 27th) so that means this Friday, December 3rd through Sunday, December 5th is Provincetown’s Holly Folly weekend. This annual event celebrates the holiday season. It is a fun and festive weekend that is equal parts camp and tradition.
This year celebrations include plenty of shopping (after all what is Christmas without retail therapy)? Support these local businesses; many of which will have great sales. In addition, be sure to check out and partake in the Ugly Sweater & Wig Bar Crawl, Drag shows galore, and Annual Jingle Bell Run. All weekend there will be cabaret shows and parties each night.
