Mass LGBT Chamber of Commerce hosts Power Grid 2023 conference at Mandarin Oriental

The Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce (MLGBT CC) is hosting its first-ever conference and tea dance on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Mandarin Oriental, Boston. The conference includes programming for both corporate partners and small business members and will conclude with a tea dance celebration.

Keynote speakers will include Mayor Michelle Wu of Boston and Mayor Nicole LaChapelle of Easthampton as well as State Senator Julian Cyr and State Representative Kate Hogan.

Inviting LGBTQ+ owned businesses to apply for NGLCC small business grants

NGLCC COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT PROGRAM

Applications are now open for local businesses to receive grants as part of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Community Impact Grant Program. This grant program is in partnership with the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce and supported by the Grubhub Community Fund.

To be eligible for the Community Impact Grant, applicants must:

  • Be an LGBTQ+-owned or LGBTQ+ ally-owned restaurant, bar, or café that serves food.
  • Provide proof that you are an LGBTQ+-owned or allied establishment.

Grants are expected to range from $10,000 to $25,000, but to be eligible applications must be submitted on or before Tuesday, February 14, 2023. For more information contact Thaís De Marco.

LGBTQ+ Job Fair on October 12th

The Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit comprised of LGBT-owned businesses and the Commonwealth’s largest, most innovative, and profitable corporations. They routinely host events designed to cultivate inclusive relationships and help to drive economic impact.

Next week the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free job fair on Wednesday, October 12th at Suffolk University. Representatives from their partner companies will feature open positions, share how their company supports and welcomes LGBTQ+ employees, and answer any questions you may have.
