I’ve never pretended to be a fan of Fox News but when they have made obvious errors in labeling or identifying geographies I’ve refrained from poking fun, acknowledging that everyone makes mistakes. However these errors seem to be happening with greater frequency on Fox News. Can you imagine a national news channel covering the Presidential Primary making errors like this? The errors shown have happened in the last two weeks; I’m not picking out errors over several months sorting through a proverbial haystack to find these.
This is the kind of thing I would expect to see on a regional network news affiliate in a minor market or perhaps from the Colbert Report on the Comedy Channel (which strangely often mocks the Fox News channel).
Fox News has been criticized for not checking their facts and perverting news to fit a political agenda. It appears the lack of discipline in their reporting is now spilling over to their preparation for their broadcasts in more tangible ways.

Robert – I’m sorry to read about your partner and hope the treatments work. Chemotherapy is hardest on the patient but its not easy on those who have to watch loved ones go through the treatment either.

thank you so much. for your words of support, sometimes i think the treatment is as harsh as the disease itself.

after spending my day watching my partner go thru his chemo treatments, he asked me to just drop it, but as the partner of a card carrying gay republican for 23 yrs, i watch a lot more fox news than i care to admit. i think what bother me most was the source, media matters is a left wing organization that has commented many times that their sole agenda is to shut down a news media that disagrees with their ideologue. i visit your site often, and this was the first time i commented, and why it angered me i have no idea. thanks for the debate, and i wish you continued success.

Feel free to share Robert. I’m not a fan of any of those outlets. The point of the entry was the number of miscues in a two week span, but I find all of these hilarious.

then shall i go and provide you with tons of miscues that msnbc, cnn, nbc, abc, cbs, that show their stupid gaffs? and do you ever post such items, because i haven’t once seen such an example, which only confirms the bias, and hypocrisy depending on your political ideologue. hope that you have a merry christmas

Hi Robert –
Actually the images are from video I believe. The one with the Obama image I actually saw and took a screen capture of from the site I source the images from. Go check it out. They may have included video feeds for the other examples as well.
The political agenda of Fox or any other news source is really secondary to what I’m saying in the post which is a clear lack of preparation and professionalism from a major, national news station.

Def. not a fan of Fox and laughed months ago of their juxtaposition of the middle east map to place Egypt next to Iran….and therefore a huge threat……and it is hilarious to see them accidentally place Obama’s pic in Romney’s spot…but I have to confess the other references escape me. What was the context? What is the point of the Western Strategy? Did they accidentally misplace a pic of Kerry with Romney? Is that the point?

might be funny, except they were all photo shopped, its a sad place when society wants to act like bigots every minute of their day. fox is only as bias as any other news organization, and only a narrow-minded bigot would accept any news media’s reporting without finding out there own truth. we will never accomplish anything in this world as long as the narrow-minded from both parties stop with asinine bigotry and hypocrisy.. i left the democrat party for this very reason, and i vote for libertarians because both parties SUCK!!!
