2012 Grammy’s tribute to Whitney Houston

The 2012 Grammy’s had Jennifer Hudson sing, I will always love you, as a tribute to Whitney Houston who passed away in her hotel room the night before. Hudson’s soulful version, which started without any musical accompaniment did justice to the original and was the high point of the award ceremony.

    Hudson’s was a beautiful and emotional tribute. Certainly one of the high points of the night.

    For me, the whole thing was marred by the multiple appearances of Chris Brown. Why the industry hasn’t shunned him for his violent past is beyond me.
