Suddenly it makes sense

Boston GuyOkay so this photo to encourage gay tourism in Paris may not be how the game of rugby is actually played (pity), but there is something incredibly distracting about this sport which has made me look beyond the annual Dieux du Stade photo shoots and video.

There is a gay rugby league in Boston.  Perhaps I should consider watching a game or two.  Below I’ve included a photo of something called a scrum.  Not really sure what the point is but it sure looks fun. Boston Guy

  1. The first picture was actually to promote rugby rather than anything gay, believe it or not. It got a lot of flak for aiming for pure attention-grabbing shock value, because rugby is a violent, macho sport (like American football but without the outrageous padding and breaks for chats) It worked.

  2. Rugby is an amazing sport and there is a position for everyone . It’s a rough game but never had a bad rugby day, not even concussions or wrecked knees could ruin rugby times.

FYI, the scrum looks fun but mostly it’s smelly. And not in a good way.

  3. I helped start the gay rugby team in town, Boston Ironsides RFC, such an awesome sport, and such a fun one to train for, you def get close with your fellow ruggers, and one of best parts; when playing straight teams, a few dudes would always hang around at the after-game drink-ups a little too long, that’s when shit got real fun, ruck over baby!!!
