Each Friday I pose a riddle or what I like to think of as a “brain teaser” for those who like that sort of thing. I freely admit, I’m often stumped, but perhaps you’ll figure out this week’s riddle.
In a marble hall white as milk
Lined with skin as soft as silk
Within a fountain crystal-clear
A golden apple doth appear.
No doors there are to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in to steal its gold.
HINT: Mother Goose

I admit that I’m a bit confused as to what the question is with this one. I would answer that the thieves are breaking in through the window. Though it does sound like the description of an egg, too.
