Each Friday morning I post a riddle to get you to think outside the box and exercise your brain. If you are stumped, share it with a friend or colleague and try to figure it out together.
I’ll confirm answers in the afternoon so don’t worry if you don’t see your comment posted right away. I want to give everyone a chance to guess.
This week’s brain teaser: What has a ring but no finger?

The first thing that comes to mind is the bathtub, and if you’re old enough to remember that 60’s commercial about ‘ring around the collar’

Yeah – Jupiter is a good answer too. A shirt could also have ring around the collar. And Anita Ward sung about Ringing her Bell. 🙂

Is that a ring singular or plural? Car engines have sets of rings and no fingers. And a bell rings but has no finger.

Of course, the phones, at least the old one contained bells (Plural) though in some cases like the P-Type ringer, had only one bell.
