You are beautiful

Real Beauty SketchesI’m often dismayed by advertising campaigns for their lack of creativity and / or the negative stereotypes perpetuated in the name of profit.  So I was more than pleasantly surprised by Dove’s latest campaign that has started to go viral, called Real Beauty Sketches. The video below shows how women view their own beauty in contrast to what others see. Its a great lesson and a touching commercial.

    One of the women closes by saying we spend so much time trying to fix what we don’t like about ourselves when we should be appreciating all that is right about ourselves. I think we can ALL learn from that.

    One thing – I saw the one where they were describing the men. Women are harsh bitches.
