The great Republican hope is no friend of the gays

DOMAConsidering it is Pride Week here in Boston, I thought it is important to note that not all politicians in Washington, D.C. have “evolved”.  Shame on Rubio. Floridians and Americans in general deserve representatives who will represent all of their constituents.  One would think a Latino like Rubio would be more progressive and understand the fundamental unfairness of exclusionary politics.

    Is it not surprising that this guy and others represent themselves and their ideologies? Anything to get funding to secure a current or future postion on the take.

    He really is just that typical politician, doing what’s best for his next campaign and not for the people he represents.

    As a Cuban-American myself, I am deeply ashamed that he’s the son of Cuban exiles (not the anti-communist ones, but the ones before who were pro-Castro) and I am doubly troubled by my Cuban compatriots who voted for him and any other Republican.
