A reader just alerted me that Dell’s SonicWall has blocked access to my pg-rated blog suddenly. While I can appreciate the lascivious thoughts that my Furry Friday and Scruffy Sunday posts must elicit, it is hardly pornographic.
Not sure how to reconcile this, but it really ticks me off. I’m heading to the airport to fly to Brazil so I’ll just have to deal with this for the time being.

I can recall in one job we had an ancient SonicWall product – you were only allowed a set of 100 rules after that you had to do a game where you’d determine the least useful rule, delete it and insert the rule you really wanted. When the opportunity came we replaced it with dual Cisco Pix 515’s, all managed by Atrion. Perfect!

Different countries have different ethical standards. Perhaps yours doesn’t work with theirs. Just saying.
