Last month I wrote about my friend Chris Remmes who was considering challenging Eugene O’Flaherty 2nd Suffolk State Representative seat. Recently Rep. O’Flaherty has announced he will be stepping down in February to join Mayor Walsh’s administration opening the door for a special election.
I wanted to give Chris another shout out and wish him luck. He’s lived in Charlestown for 20 years. He has been a longtime civic activist and currently serves as Charlestown’s Democratic Ward Chair.
