I love a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, or a great Oregon Pinot Noir, or a peppery Red Zin, but there are few wines I’ve met that i haven’t liked–other than the Kool-Aid-y White Zinfandels and Rieslings and such.
For white either a Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.
For red Petite Syrah or Zinfandel
For dessert wines a nice ice wine
For savories (such as foie gras) a Sauterne
The only one on that list that I don’t really like is white zinfandel. Icky! Now a good German Riesling – the fruitier the better. Totally awesome!

A good Zinfandel for me. My favorite is Turning Leaf’s, but you can’t find it anymore (their Zinfandel, that is.)
