The South End’s newest apartment complex, Troy Boston, is offering two months free rent if you move-in starting this January. The new development located at 276 Albany Street has two towers and when fully open will include 376 apartments, rooftop terraces, rooftop lounge, outdoor swimming pool, fitness facilities, and outdoor pet-friendly space.

Any idea what they’d be charging for a 2 bed? I can imagine it’s upward of $2K per month.

I have no idea. Rent in this part of town is really pretty ridiculous. If I hadn’t purchased my condo years back there is really no way I could afford to live here.

Studios are $2,300. 2 beds go up to $5,000.

That is insane! I pay – are you ready $800 a month for a 1,200 square foot three bedroom place in Providence. Even if you add the cost of my MBTA pass in it’s still way less than Boston prices.
