Frog Pond skating rink is now open

It’s official – The Frog Pond on the Boston Common opened today at 10 a.m.  If you are looking for something different to do and want to get outside, head over to the Boston Common and skate under the stars.  While I’m not much of a skater, a half hour or so of ice skating seems like a great date night option; guaranteed to provide great people watching, some good laughs.  Follow up the skating by grabbing a hot cocoa or hot toddy in one of the surrounding neighborhoods: Beacon Hill, Back Bay and Downtown Crossing.

The Frog Pond rents skates for $10 and the rink is open until 10PM tonight.  The rink opens daily at 10AM but the hours do vary so check their website for the details at www.bostonfrogpond.com.
