Boston’s rental market can be best described in one word, “outrageous”. My post from earlier this month, What you pay in boston neighborhoods per square foot, only reinforced that point. Zumper.com has released information showing modest decreases in neighborhoods overrun with “luxury” apartments, but for everyone else rents continue to rise in and around Boston.
I suppose it is no surprise that rents have soared in the West Broadway section of Southie and Coolidge Corner, although I will admit I was surprised to see rents continue to climb in my neighborhood, South End.
