I do not always get to the “T-Dances” these days – but I am old enough to know and have been to T – it was the Sunday afternoon code that it would be okay to go to the bar as a gay person. We could rip it up to the nines – mostly because way back in the day Mondays restaurants were closed and we had a built in recovery time 😉 And thankfully Monday afternoons both Jacques and Playland opened – because vodka and gin are so rehydrating! So sayeth the gent from 21 Essex Street – back bar.
