I remember those novels. Patricia Warren wrote many more none of which I can remember at this point so many years later

Being of a “certain age”, I remember the Gordon Merrick gay novels of the early seventies especially ‘The Lord Won’t Mind’ and Patricia Warren’s ‘The Front Runner’ – I guess they were the “classy” ones! Good beach and pool reading. We have, indeed, come a long way!
